Here's how Halekulani stacks up:
Here's how it stacks up to the criteria:
- On Oahu, but in Waikiki
- Getting Ready + Ceremony + Reception in one location
- Able to accommodate 150+ guests
- Beautiful grounds, but no beach access
- Great food
- At first I thought it would be too expensive, but not that bad when considering the total package (hotel suite/hotel cake and cutting service/free parking/ceremony fee waived with reception all included), it's not too bad for a five-diamond hotel
Additional Pros:
- Known for impeccable service
Cons:
- Not too keen on the ceremony locations
- No amplified music allowed (except in Ballroom)
- The ballroom has a $11,000 minimum for dinner reception
