Introducing...Miss Pug!

This blog will be ala Weddingbee style where the blogger is known by an icon. A while back, they had a post on characters remaining for new "bees", and I instantly knew what I would be...Miss Pug (after my dear furbaby)!

Our Seattle Engagement Photo Shoot

Mr. Pug and I were at the Seattle Aquarium the morning of our photo shoot when we got a phone call. Our photographer, Kate, came down with a nasty virus and was unable to do our photo shoot. She had been holding on until the last minute in hopes that she would feel better, but ultimately decided that she wouldn't be able to produce her best work with the way she was feeling. Since we were only in town for a couple days, we weren't able to reschedule. Kate said that she could see if another photographer would be available to do our shoot that day, and that is how we ended up with Rebecca Ellison as our photographer. Becca worked with us on creating a package that would meet our needs and met us in Issaquah to begin our shoot. We had so much fun working with Becca. She was friendly and put us at ease. I had always wanted to take pictures at an old Shell gas station in Issaquah, and we got to take some shots there. Issaquah is the small town where I bought my first home, so it had a lot of memories for me. Next we drove through crazy rush-hour traffic to the University of Washington, where I went to school, to take advantage of the great architecture and quaint courtyard. By the time we were done there, the sun was about to set and it didn't look like we would make it to Pike Place Market and Kerry Park like we had planned (darn traffic!). Instead, we headed to nearby Gasworks Park where we were able to take some pictures of the Seattle skyline.  I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to work with Kate, but Rebecca was great. I can't wait to get our pictures!
